Bonnie joined the lab as a MS student in September 2009 with the research topic “Torsional Shear Strength and Size Effect in Structural Composite Lumber”. She obtained her MS degree from the department of Environmental Conservation at UMass in 2012 and is now continuing her PhD study at the department of Sustainable Bio-products at Mississippi State University. Her PhD work focuses on innovation of engineering lumber composites, and evaluation of southeast region lumber grades with mechanical and statistical methods.
